Georgia Rotary Student
Kinga Gruszecka
Lublin, Poland
The Rotary Club of Sandy Springs will share hosting responsibilities again in the 2010-11 Rotary year with the Rotary Club of Alpharetta. Our student this year is Miss Kinga Gruszecka who hails from Lublin, Poland and arrived in the Summer of 2011.

On August 1, 2011,
the Rotary Club of Sandy Springs was delighted to meet for the first
time our Georgia Rotary Student Program (GRSP) student, Kinga
Gruszecka. Kinga visited for lunch and gave a warm hello to everyone.
Kinga will attend Southern Polytechnic University in Marietta.
Classes begin shortly, as does the whirlwind GRSP schedule.
Kinga began her college education at Maria Curie-Sklodowska University, also in Lublin. At University, Kinga served as President of the Rotaract chapter of Lublin and Chairwoman of the Student's Media Association. She first learned about the Georgia Rotary Student Program at a Rotaract meeting. During her year in Georgia Kinga will study courses related to Digital Communication/Multimedia, Urban Studies, Marketing Management, Sociology, American Studies.
Kinga is sponsored by the Sopot International Rotary Club in Rotary District 2230 and credits support of her parents and grandmother for her successes. She sees her GRSP scholarship as an opportunity to study subjects which will compliment her desired career and provide a unique glimpse into American culture. In her spare time Kinga enjoys traveling, writing (poems, short stories, reports), reading non-fiction literature and detective stories, movies, organizing cultural events, and regular cardio workouts at the gym.
