January 16, 2017 - Rev. Chuck Savage, Retired CEO, Georgia United Methodist FoundationOn Monday, January 16, 2017, Rev. Charles W. (“Chuck”) Savage, II will speak to the Rotary Club of Sandy Springs. Rev. Savage retired as CEO of The Georgia United Methodist Foundation (“GUMF”) effective July 1, 2016. Chuck joined the GUMF Board in 1992 and has served in leadership positions since July of 2006 when he became Chairman of the Board of Trustees. Soon after the merger with the South Georgia United Methodist Foundation in 2010, he became CEO in early 2011. 
END HUMAN TRAFFICKING FILM "8 Days" Screening
January 12, 2017 Free Screening at North Springs High School (Sandy Springs) 6:30-9:30 p.m. with Law Enforcement Panel Discussion
On January 12, 2017, a screening of the film “8 Days” followed by a law enforcement panel discussion about human trafficking was held at North Springs Charter High School (7447 Roswell Road, N.E., Atlanta GA 30328 from 6:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. Seating is limited and the film contains adult content. Reservations are needed at www.brookhavenrotary.org The event was co-sponsored by the Rotary Club of Brookhaven, the Rotary Club of Dunwoody, the Rotary Club of North Atlanta and the Rotary Club of Sandy Springs. Parents and community members attended the free event. A panel discussion followed that included the police chiefs of the cities of Dunwoody, Brookhaven and Sandy Springs.
