Just in time for the holidays, we are planning an online auction to help fund  our club's community service, youth projects and other programs throughout the year.

Thursday, Oct. 10
Behavioral Health & Developmental Disabilities Commissioner Kevin Tanner

On Thursday, Oct. 10, our guest speaker will be Georgia Department of Behavioral Health & Developmental Disabilities Commissioner Kevin Tanner. Commissioner Tanner brings around three decades of public service experience, with a deep understanding of Georgia’s complex behavioral health continuum.

Under his leadership, historic investments in the agency’s workforce have resulted in reopening previously offline crisis beds and enabling state hospitals to operate at nearly full capacity.

He'll discuss the role of his department in Georgia and its evolution.

Note: Commissioner Tanner will not be available after the club meeting on Thursday, but he has graciously agreed to arrive early for those who may have questions for him. Be there at 11:30 a.m. if you'd like to meet Commissioner Tanner before the meeting.
